(2) Searching and finding information in the Internet is an independent element of our culture – in the future, children will learn how to count, read, write, and google at school. (3) The ability to acquire information and integrate it into our personal corpus of knowledge is more important than the knowledge itself. (4) Search engines like Google always provide a surplus of information: Users find answers to questions that they haven’t even asked (yet). Google generates an entire universe of questions and in the process ultimately changes the basic operation of knowledge acquisition.”
