Dr. Heidi Campbell discusses religion in a networked society with The Religious Studies Project. In a podcast she talks about her article, "Understanding the Relationship Between Religion Online and Offline in a Networked Society," published in the Journal of the American Academy of Religion (March 2010). Campbell presents an overview of the five key traits of "networked religion," including networked community; storied identities; shifting authority; convergent practice; and multisite reality.
