Antonio Spadaro

Antonio Spadaro, a Jesuit, is the editor of La Civiltà Cattolica, a magazine founded in 1850. He is consultant to the Pontifical Council for Culture and the Pontifical Council for Social Communication. He teaches Cyberteology at the Pontifical Gregorian University. He also writes for Wired. One of his areas of expertise is the languages of contemporary culture. In 1988 he founded the creative writing association BombaCarta. He is the author of a number of books on contemporary culture. He has dedicated more than a decade to the study of digital culture from an anthropological and theological perspective. He edits the blog Cyberteologia.it and is the author of books on digital culture including Connessioni. Nuove forme della cultura al tempo di Internet (2006), Web 2.0.
