Bio Statement:
I am a UGA Mass Communication PhD working in the McGrath Institute for Church Life at the University of Notre Dame where I teach courses in media and theology. The McGrath Institute provides continuing theological education and formation for leaders in the Catholic Church. I am in the process of developing an initiative that brings together media and technology scholars to address the pastoral questions raised by new media technologies. My book, Appletopia: Media Technology and the Religious Imagination of Steve Jobs, looks at Apple advertising and the Steve Jobs legacy as a form of iconography for the digital age.
