Bio Statement: 
Dalia Yousef has a Master’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the American University in Cairo. Her Master’s thesis tackles the utilization of internet among religious minorities by focusing on the cases of European Muslims and Egyptian Copts. She received a postgraduate diploma in journalism from Cairo University. She worked for a decade at islamOnline.net (2000-2010) where she founded and managed a special page on European Muslims. She is the author of taglyat el adyan ala al internet (or Manifestations of Religions Online), a study issued by the Digital Literacy Series, the Egyptian Cultural Palaces Authority in 2012. She covered and participated in different international events and conferences in Algeria, UK, Qatar, South Africa, Turkey and Lebanon. She contributed to some research and journalistic publications addressing the issues of cyber activism, religious minorities, women issues, democratic transition and media diversity.
