Steve McMullin

I am a sociologist (Ph.D. from the University of New Brunswick); I am Associate Professor in the faculty of theology at Acadia University in Nova Scotia, Canada. I also teach sociology of religion at the University of New Brunswick as a contract instructor. My current research (which was supported by a grant from the Society for the Scientific Study of Religion) surveyed more than 1500 people in congregations in the USA and Canada about the effects of digital media on social and religious identity. I am currently analyzing the data, but have presented preliminary findings at four academic conferences.
